Library services are delivered in our four Study Centres and also online. The library service at Northern Regional College provides students and staff with a wide range of resources, print and online, across all subject areas. Each study centre is stocked with course core texts and current popular books, journals and reports. We also have a wide range and collection of print books in our central book repository in Newtownabbey. All print books can be searched via our library discovery service - i-Discover and requested by contacting your local campus study centre (details below).

We have an extensive collection of online digital information and learning resources to help you with your studies, available to access online 24/7 anytime, anywhere.

All students and staff have access to our online library catalogue, known as i-Discover and all of our digital information resource subscriptions such as e-books, e-journals, e-databases and other subject related online content.

Access is available to all students and staff online (Links to an external site.) 24/7 from outside the College.

NRC Library Services provides students and staff with everything they need to know about the library service. The Library Resources area at the top and bottom of this page includes sections containing useful help guides on how to access and use our library catalogue, e-books, e-databases, e-journals and referencing as well as discovering forthcoming library workshops or events taking place throughout the academic year.
