Are you a past NRC student?

Are you returning to College to progress to the next level?

Are you moving from Level 2 to Level 3 or even higher?

If the answer is YES! Then this Information page has been created for you!

This short guide is not for students returning to College for the second or third year of their current course.

To progress to the next level of your course you will need to complete an application form, we have included instructions on what you should do below:

Visit www.nrc.ac.uk to view the courses available.
Use the search box to find courses that you would be interested in applying for.
Add the course you would like to apply for to your shortlist by clicking ADD COURSE TO SHORTLIST. You can add up to five courses to your shortlist.
When you have finished adding courses to your shortlist, select Apply Now and you will be redirected to the online admissions portal.
Create an account for the online admissions portal:
You MUST create a new account even if you have been a past student of the College as this is a brand new Application Portal!
You will need to create a password and have a personal email address. Keep a note of these as you will need them to log in again to track your applications. The password you create must contain at least 9 characters, a combination of both upper and lower case characters and at least 1 digit.
Enter all details for:
* Personal details
* Further details
* Data protection

Please note, if you are a current or past student at the College and wish to progress to the next level, you will also need to create a new account. Please add in you current student ID number when asked and your ULN number if you have it. Your ULN number can be found on most of your result certificates.
Enter your qualifications:
Add qualifications to your application by clicking the Add button and entering the required qualification in the grid. Please note these can be updated and edited at a later date if you do not currently have your results. If you have no qualifications to add to your application you can skip this section.
Evidence upload:
Upload supporting documents for your application in the Evidence section, for example, photographic ID, exam certificates and references. Please note these can be uploaded and edited at a later date if you do not currently have your results. If you have no evidence to add to your application you can skip this section.
Review and submit:
Check the information you have entered is correct and submit your application. The application confirmation page will then be displayed. You will also receive an email confirming your application - please check your spam and junk folders for these.

Monitor:
After completing your application you should continue to monitor your online application account as information regarding information sessions and offers will be available here.

Information session or interview:
An information session may be set up for the course you have applied for. You can book an information session slot that suits you (if applicable) via the online applications portal.

Offer:
Following your application, you may receive an offer of a place on the course of your choice. You will be able to accept or reject this offer via the online applications portal.
